The topic here is quantum computing. No, don't leave ! You'll see it's a very exciting domain. But the word “quantum” often trigger this reaction…
Don't be afraid: no need to be a genius to understand quantum physics & quantum computing. But being persistent is important for this quest. Believe me it worth it!
The purpose of this project is to explain quantum computing and for that I'll start at the very beginning. We'll explore quantum mechanics, then approach the quantum computing with mathematics. We will even write quantum code! What a program isn't it?
Let's start with the first question than everyone is asking me: “what is the point of quantum computing?”.

That would simply change the world isn't it? Well this is what quantum computing will allows.
I often hear people having doubts concerning the feasibility of quantum computing. Let me tell you a little story: in the 70s, calculators was the size of a big house and was only capable of doing basic calculations.
At the same time some people were saying “we will never do better”…an now we have smartphones with incredible computation power.
We will have real quantum computers in the following decades I'm convinced of that. And I'm not the only one: Google, Microsoft, IBM, etc. are spending billions a year to move forward on this topic.
